Ashley National Forest Travel Management Plan

Public Meeting May 14, 2009 Comments

The Forest Service at Ashley National Forest is proposing to improve management of public motorized use by designating roads and motorized trails on the Ashley National Forest. Winter snowmobile use is not addressed in this project. This project will result in the publication of a motor vehicle use map by fall of 2009. Once the motor vehicle use map is published, motorized use will be allowed only on designated routes.  On May 14, 2009 a Public Meeting sponsored by The Coalition of Local Governments and the Sweetwater County Conservation District was held to explain this Travel Plan.  Below are the documents and maps from this meeting.
